Privacy Policy
Yusra ("Yusra", "we", "us") is an audio-first Islamic bedtime app for children, operated by Fahim Bin Zahur. We built Yusra to be private by default. This policy explains, in plain language, what limited data the app involves and how it is handled.
Information stored on your device
When you set up Yusra, the information you enter, such as a child's first name, age range, and listening progress, is stored locally on your device only. It is not transmitted to us or to any server, and we cannot access it.
Information collected by our service providers
To deliver core functionality and understand how the app performs, Yusra uses Superwall, a third-party tool that manages our subscription and free-trial experience. Through Superwall, the following limited data may be collected:
- Device identifier (a per-install ID)
- Purchase activity (whether a trial or subscription started, renewed, or ended)
- Product interaction (anonymous usage events, such as which paywall was shown)
- Crash and performance data (to keep the app stable)
This data is used only for app functionality and analytics. It is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use it for advertising.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see or store your payment-card details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Notifications
If you opt in, Yusra schedules a gentle local bedtime reminder. These notifications are generated on your device and are not sent through us.
Children's privacy
Yusra is intended for use by children under the guidance of a parent or guardian, who sets up and manages the app. Yusra does not knowingly collect personal information from children, does not require any account, and contains no behavioral advertising or third-party ad tracking. The limited analytics described above are not tied to a child's identity.
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not show third-party advertising.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not require an account or collect contact information from children.
Your choices
You can clear all locally stored data at any time by deleting the app. You can disable reminders in your device settings. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, note changes in the app.
